How do i connect to nintendo wi-fi on pokemon pearl?

i've been on nintendo wifi website, and i went on wifi connection setup, but it says:

"the access point's security settings are not supported by nintendo DS. for help visit nintendowifi.com"

any help on resolving it? cheers

If you want to use a wi-fi setup at home you need a special wireless modem from walmart and try again they normally cost around $70 to 80$. If that doesn't work go to a free wi-fi hot spot like a Mcdonalds or an internet cafe. The wi-fi is free and if you want you could order something to eat while you play. You just have to ask the management about it for more details. I reccomend this option first. I'm trying to avoid sounding redundant but you must also have wi-fi compatible games. It'll say it on the label if it is.
