How do i contact microsoft regarding my Xbox360 that was stolen?

My brother had some friends over, and next thing you know my xbox 360 is missing, and it had my Xbox Live account on it, so i'm afraid that whoever stole it is gonna hook it up and go into the Xbox live store and buy tons of stuff that's gonna be charged to my credit card for that account!

I read a news article about some kid threatening a school shooting over xbox live, and they were able to track the guy down just by his xbox live profile name, and seeing what its IP address was where he was connecting it. So if they have that capability, then i should be able to tell them my account's name, and then wherever it's used, they get the IP address and send the cops there. At the very least i should cancel my account so it can't charge my card, but what is the site for doing that or who do i contact?

First of all, the school shooting is a completely different scenario. A potential shooting is more of a concern than a single stolen console. A player reported the incident to the police and the police did everything from there, with Microsoft's help. Microsoft isn't in the business of solving crimes.

However, you should contact them and let them know what has happened. They should be able to cancel your account.

Personally, I would treat this the same as a stolen credit card and just cancel the card.
