Question:

How do i control my violent thoughts?

Lately, after seeing the movie, I am Legend, I've been getting some odd, violent thoughts. Normally about my mom or dad, but I don't know why. They treat me fairly, and i love them and they love me. Can anyone offer some insight as to why i'm thinking these things?

I'd never want to hurt my parents, but why am i having violent thoughts towards them?

  1. It sounds to me as though you found the movie very gripping and you are still involved in some of the "action" in it. Because you are no longer watching it, but you are continuing to think about it, then  you are transferring thoughts and images from it into your everyday life. It must have been some movie! (I haven't seen it).

    To counteract negativity you just have to focus on positivity. Find the opposites to the violence and focus on those in your life. You could wash Dad's car; help Mum with the washing up - anything and everything which demonstrates to them as well as yourself of the love (not the violence) that you feel towards them.  Best wishes.   2. Not good and Not normal... There are a lot of good thoughts you can put your mind to.. Change your PATTERNS of thinking and you can change you life in that area...Feed your mind some positive and self

    beneficial thoughts and you will change.  You can't meditate on evil and overcome it at the same time. It will lead into a life of self destruction and pain. Surely you do not like pain. So, replace your negative with some positive motivating good thoughts that will bring good and happy results...You can do it.  It's YOUR choice..

    Get a book like the personalized book I got that will change your own self worth and direct your life in a positive way.  You can do better.

    You can see this book at the site below and you can read daily and begin to change your thoughts of yourself and others. Get healthy and do something to make a change in you thinking patterns. YOU CAN DO IT !!! You will become what you feed your mind !!! It's faith in the wrong direction.  You do not want pain in your life.......Do something for yourself !!! Takes very little effort to START in a new direction. You're worth it !

  3. Thoughts are like birds... You can't keep them from flying over your head but you can stop them from building a nest!!!

    Don't be discouraged, it happens but don't dwell on it ;-)
