How do i convenice my parents to let my do this?

Okay well me and my dad always go to this lacal dirt race track and watch sprint cars, late cars and a couple of other cars. i've always wanted to race late cars. My fathers work always sponsers the races there and i hear my dad talking about sponsering there own driver or couple drivers. I am 13 and i know i got 2 wait a couple of years to race but i am willing to do that but im scared if i tell my parents then they will they wont let me do it. I mean i know my dad will and his work will but im not sure how my mom would take it. Any advice! Thanks!!!!!

Let them know you are aware its dangerous, possibly expensive even with sponsorship, and make take away from your studies, but that it is your dream.

be honest, approach the subject as if its something you have always wanted to do and that you are open to their opinions/ suggestions.
