How do i convert a MSWMM file to a wmv file ?

i made a youtube video using windows movie maker and youtube says its a Mswmn file and won't upload it. how do i export it to a wmv file?

MSWMM is only the project file in WMM. You need to save the project as a movie file. Open Movie Maker, open your project and go to File, Save Movie File and follow the prompts.OR Click on Tasks, finish movie and follow the prompts. This will save your project as a wmv (windows media video.)

some free stuff might add spyware to your system,

Microsoft might offer some ,just GOOGLE your question you will see hundreds of converter free and not so free I can not recommend any site ,

MSWMM is a project file, when you save file as a project with movie  maker, the file is in MSWMM format. but if you save your file as a video it is in wmv format. you can load your MSWMM file to movie maker and then resave it as wmv format.  youube video is flv format. next, you need to convert wmv to flv format. you can use Nidesoft video converter to convert your file to flv format. done
