  1. there are no complicated things involved...

Take the mixer output and use a 3.5 mm earphone plug and connect/ solder the wires in stereophonic connection L+R+Shield now push this plug into line in of PC

Start sound recorder or Jet Audio for recording the audio after you have saved on hdd of pc you can transfer to mem stick or pen drive.

Jet Audio can convert to any audio format mp3 or wma

  2. Any digital recording device has a A\D coverter....from a sound card\adapter to a voice recorder. All you need to do is plug in the headphone jack from the mixer to the recording device.

You may need a 1/4 to 3.5mm reduction for the headphone jack.

It doesnt matter if you want windows, mac or linux.

  3. There are many ways to do it.  The simplest way is to just get some recording software on a nearby computer (maybe "audacity" at soundforge.net).  Then just cable the aux out on the board to the line in on the computer soundcard (blue connector).  The sound card converts the analog to digital - no need to worry about that part.

Both PC or Mac will do the job.  If the rest of the church building has PC's, it might be good to go with that.  If the computer is on the church LAN, the file transfer will be easy.

What we do at my church is record straight to a CD recorder for the CD ministry and also straight to a laptop for Mp3 files.

E-mail me if you have other questions.

    God bless you!
