  1. It depends on the density of the material

    Density = mass (kg)/volume(m3)

    or

    Mass (kg) = Density * Volume

    For example

    Density of watter is 1000 kg per m3 or 1 ton per m3

    so

    6 m3 = 6 * 1000 = 6000 kg or 6 ton


  2. depends on what the object was. Objects of different masses have different weights. You multiply the volume by the specific density and you'll get the mass.
