How do i convert video_ts files so i can watch it on my laptop?

its not a dvd, its a tv show ive downloaded, so will that software (suggest by army dude) still work?

There's a really handy program called DVDShrink (http://www.dvdshrink.org/)

Which will allow you to burn the VIDEO_TS folder to a disk as a region 0 DVD which will play in anything.

the dvd you want to watch was downloaded from tv via a dvd player ~is this right if yes.

put the dvd in your laptop drive,

when the lap top recognises the dvd.

click on "my computer"~this should show your drive with an icon of a dvd on it.

click on the dvd icon >click open~the new window will have the option to play on it ~click on play ~if it will not play~you will have to drag and drop the film file onto your desktop and make a data copy ~this will play.

I don't think you need to convert them, play .vob files with media player and it should work. If not then try using Nero or TMpeg to convert videos

you can watch it as video_ts on your laptop providing you have DVD playing software installed. Usually there is an option on the software that says "on DVD from file" or something similar.

At least Jetaudio plays those DVD files. And maybe VLC player too.

Just download VLC (Link Below)

After you download go to open DVD and pick your DVD drive. That's it!
