How do i convince my dad about .... read&help . please?

my friend's age . he's not my boyfriend or anything just a boy i like .. but i'm not sure if he likes me .. but my grandma & dad don't believe me about him being 17 because he has a nice car ( lincoln mkz 2008 .. also the same as my dad ) . the only way there probably going to believe me is if my dad talks to him . any suggestions of convincing my dad to believe me without talking to the boy ?

i have some suggestions on what you could do...

*show you dad his drivers license?

*get someone else to confirm his age, someone your dad would trust?

*drop hints about him at collage or where ever he goes?

* you need to talk about your friend and make sure your dad knows he is a nice guy.

all in all though it might make things easier if your dad has a chat to your friend, because you dad will feel better knowing who your hanging out with! It doesn't have to be a long chat- but i would warn your friend before hand that your dad is just a bit over protective!

Nope i doubt it once he's convinced he is  17 there is no changing his mind, just get him to talk with your dad.
