How do i convince my dad to buy something?

i want my dad to upgrade the computer so i can play a game on it, but whenever i ask "Did you think about buying the upgrade yet?" he always say "Not yet," "Not yet," "Not yet," Anyone have any advice?

You could offer to buy half of the upgrade - that way you are showing your maturity and helping out at the same time.

Offer to help him with something, work around the house etc..
