How do i convince my mom i need a cell phone?

my mom said she would get me a cell phone for my birthday which was in july but she said when go back to school she will get me a cell phone.know she says when we move she will get me one.HOW do i convince her to get me a cell phone NOW.

You are not telling how old  you are. Going by the  narration you have given, I would say your mother knows best. Many students are spending a great deal of time fidgeting with this new toy, not to mention about  squandering  much of their pocket allowance or parents hard earned money.

Say it will be for emergencys and say I dont want to bother u when i want to get on the phone but if i have a cell phone then i wont bother u!

and if someone else gets hurt i could call u real quick thats wat i said to my mom when i got a cell

I tired convincing her I needed a cell phone for almost 4 years. It never worked. I came home late all the time, guess what? I got grounded. Then I definitely didn't need a cell phone since my *** was home all the time. Then as soon as I didn't want one anymore because I realized I didn't need one, they got me one for my graduation (my HS graduation of course lol). Just wait.

Just keep being late and not showing up for stuff and say "if i had a cell phone this wouldn't have happened". She'll have to cave

Try breaking your old one then you can say you DEFINATELY need one other wise you can't get in touch with her (:
