How do i convince my mom to let me dye my hair?

ok i wanna dye my hair but my mom wont let me cuz she says it ruins your hair

i know it does but still

so i want some tips on how to convince her

So any help?

alright well it took me forever to talk my mom into it too, just be patient and dont get really mean.

i tend to do that, just be like, " i really wanna dye my hair mom i will take care of it and do chores and all that good stuff.

kinda butter her up a bit, you know i love you mommy, pleasee please pleasee things like that tend to work and i mean its your hair youshould be able to do what you want right?

well, even if it does ruin your hair all of the damaged hair will eventually grow out... I would say to ask her to let you use Temporary hair dye... that way it'll grow out/fade quickly and after she's let you do that then start working on her for permanent hair dye....now if you're wanting to dye your hair blue, purple, bright crimson red, or anything crazy well you're kinda stuck because I don't know any parent in their right mind that would let their kid do that unless it's temporary and washes out the next time they wash their hair(and if that is what you want they sell colored hair gel stuff at beauty brands that would do the trick and wash out)

there's really no way to convince her.

I had to wait till i was older.

I wanted to dye my hair when i was 12 but my mom compromised and said i had to wait.

So this year [i'm 14] and i asked her and she said yes, but it has to be close to my natural hair color.

So just compromise with her :)

the way I always did it was to just do it and not tell em til they saw it...They'd be a hypocrite if they made you go and change it back..lol..course if you have extremely strict parents I wouldn't try that..I was spoiled so when they said grounded it really meant go to your room for 10 mins and then come out..lol..

welll i dont think you should dye your hair completly you should probrebly put in streeaks. also you can tell ur mom that you know the risks but you still would like to do it
