How do i convince my mom to let me get a guinea pig??????

well i have a leopard gecko but he doesn't do much.... she doesn't like them because they smell but i told her she won't have to even look at it if we get one....PLEASE HELP ME GET A GUINEA PIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell here all about them... like they live happily together, and are really cheap to look after... they are your responsability, not mums. They don't stink, and you will pay for them and every thing. Nowadays cages are really cheap! Ebay sell them for a fiva or less!!! You will never beg for anything again. Always do your homework and do chours, when she see them, shell regret ever saying no, esspecially young ones!:)

You could try getting a shed and keeping them in there, that way she really wouldn't have to look at them. That's what convinced my mom to let me get one.

Well for starters, how about trying the following:

#1 Cleaning your room and making sure that it STAYS clean and tidy.

#2 Making sure that your homework is done and handed in on time.

#3 Sweep the floors in the living room and kitchen without your parents asking you to.

#4 Wash and/or dry the dishes.

#5 Do not fight and argue with your sisters & brothers.

#6 Eat what you are given and don't whine or make "yuck" faces when given it.

#7 Don't talk rudly to adults

#8  Always share with other kids.

#9 Go to bed when you are told to.

#10 Research the pet and breed you want to be 100% certain that it is the right one for you.

# 11 Ask them about getting this new pet in a nice way and don't beg and whine about it.

If 100% sure that if you give those a try, they will see that you are serious about wanting to add a this pet to you life and family. :)

first let her hold the guinea pig...so she gets attached to him/her (hopefully she's a push over) then as shes holding her pick up a toy or anything cute for guinea pigs and say "awww...mom look how cute this is!!!!!"

ummmmmm....try doing like tons of research then telling her about them...oooh and tell her to ask about anything and when you know the answer (lets hope you do!) she will be impressed and get you one (hopefully!)=]

I know how hard it is to convince your mom, i had to do that too!! Accept i had to convince my dad who had one when he was a kid and his was a little devil!! But mine is very very nice and my parents have both fallen in love with her!!

Ok so tell her that it is very cute and that you will pay for it yourself or wait till christmas or birthday!! (dont get her to pay for it cause it wont work)!! Also tell her that it will help your responsibility level go up and you wont be able to skimp out of alot of stuff cause you will have to go home EVERY DAY to feed it and hold it and cuddle with it!! Tell her that you will take care of it and it will be in your room so she doesn't have to help at all!! And if your mom is a softy bring her to the petstore (but please dont get one from there, get one from a shelter, SAVE A LIFE), they have baby ones that are totally adorible, when i brought my mom there (shes, kinda, a softy)  she kinda fell in love with the ferrets first but then she saw one of the Guinea Pigs and was like "awwww"... but don't bring her if she's one of those people that if she looks at a rodent thinks "that thing is going to p**p like crazy!!" But eventually she will fall in love with it!! And so will you, so dont give up hope!! Do lots of research, that will prove to her you are really into it!!
