  1. I am answering as a Mom.   Why don't you look through some magazines and come up with some pictures of what you would like to do.   Then approach your mom showing her your ideas and what you can do to HELP her redo your room.   Give her some ideas on how you have thought about how you can save money by using your old furniture by sprucing it up with a coat a paint.   I think if you show your mom that you are willing to put in a lot of "sweat equity" --- doing as much of the work as you can -- she might see that you are really growing up and outgrowing your little girl room.

    Good luck!!

  2. Convince her that you're actually serious about redecorating your room. As a parent, she might think you're just being idealistic and wanting new stuff. It might help to research some of the things you want (new dressers, beds, etc.) and show her your ideas. This will help her understand that it's an important issue for you. Good luck!

  3. How old are you? Tell her you are more grown up now,and you would like something different.I really don't know what to  tell ya,cause I don't know your mom,but it's her house, she pays the bills, and she would probably have to pay for a new dresser and bed. So,I guess it's up to her.Maybe you could earn it by doing extra things around the house, getting good grades in school, and maybe she'll think about it!Good Luck!!
