How do i convince my parents in getting me another pet?

I have a dog but i really want another one or a ferret! plz pLz plz help me!

Well my parents they won't let me have a pet yet but maybe if you can show them that you can take care of another pet they will let you have another pet.

this might sound really mean but its not. You shouldn't get another pet because your lucky you have a dog! and if you get another pet your dog night (will) get really jelous because you giving more love to the other pet you want and might get a little violent towards it.

Well ferrets can be a handful, and since you have a dog I would recommend getting a pet you can keep out of your parents and dogs way. Something you can keep safely in your room like a hamster/mouse/rat/guinea pig. I think either of those pets would be the best.

As for your parents, save up the money so you can buy the supplies and pet yourself. Do lots of research on your selected pet and write an essay, ask them to sit down and read it to them.

Write up a contract saying you will care for this pet and they don't have to have anything to do with it. Also say on the contract that if, for some reason you get bored of it or can't look after it they/you will find a home for it.
