  1. just try to remember his school days...

  2. if they think it is too dangerous... they will not likely change their mind....

a shame really becuase cheerleading is far more dangerous....

explain to them that all of lifes lessons can be learned on a motorcycle... like responsibility ... Trust ....and how to succeed after a setback.....

  3. keeeeeep askin

  4. Tell them it will teach you responsibility since you must maintain it. Also it will keep you off drugs. It the best all around exercise outside of socerr and it will keep you from getting a girl pregnant since you will be too busy to do that:)

  5. It's a dirt bike for crying outload. Riding on the streets is dangerous. Sounds like you've never had a cycle, maybe, not even a mini-bike. Big bummer. If that is the case, how crazy can you get. If you can, start talking mom and dad into taking you to dealers and test driving some. Show en your skills. I don't know your situation, so, take what you can out of this. Parents always cave eventually. Look at all the protective gear M-xers have to wear. You'll wear all the attire, right. It's recreation. Geesh, how many parents b..ch about there kids playing nothing but video games and never going outside.......

I'm a parent, my kids ride. But I taught them. Your parents need more ammunition than that to shoot it down.

  6. I wish i could ask for one, but every time i do, they say that you cannot have one in this development because they have a noise restriction and WHERE THE c**p ARE YOU GONNA RIDE IT?!  i clearly know where, but i feel your pain...  Try doing work towards it!  do chores and that stuff until they realize how BADLY YOU WANT IT!  I am trying that for an iPhone btw...  :P

  7. Do you have a local track where you could ride if you were allowed to have a bike?  As if so you could take your parents along to watch others riding and to show them that it is a lot safer in a controlled environment.  Especially if you wear all the proper protective gear.

If they don't change their minds at least be sure to know that you are not the only person who is not allowed to do something they want to do  and your parents are only thinking of trying to do what they think is best for you.

If that is the case then you will just have to wait till you are older and can get one yourself.

  8. Organise a family day out where they can have fun! They'll have so much fun, they'll forget the danger factor :p

Maybe something like this - it's for beginners.
