How do i convince my parents to buy me texting ?

I really want texting. All my friends have it. i feel like such a looser not having it. My parents keep telling me that i will get it soon but they just keep saying it ! HELP ME PLEZZZ !

stop acting like a whiny baby and come up with a plan. Offer to do specific chores every week in exchange for texting.

Why do you want it? Exactly what good will it do for you? Do you realize it will probably cost more money to have this feature?

I often wonder what people of today would do if they did not have cell phones and text messaging? It is not like it is the end of the world and if anything, people have become more disrespectful and unsafe with this privilege.

They use them while crossing the street nearly getting hit by cars, they use them while driving even when they should not...during money transactions and even when they should be paying attention to the people around them...

I would say you would be a winner, not a looser and question why you choose to pick a low description of yourself for not having what they have. If your friends do not accept you for you, a person without being able to text, then they do not have respect to give and, it is their problem not yours! The same would apply with...smoking , alcohol and drugs too.

Count your blessings of what yo do have, not what you do not have!
