How do i convince my parents to get wavs?

i really want wavs like the ones they do like at great clips and my mom said no i dont have wavy hair but it is a example in my avitar so please tell me how

get a good [doesnt have to b xpensive] curling iron & watch vids on youtube on how to curl hair..bc basically wavy hair is curly hair but you seperate em and make em look beachy and wavy :]
