How do i copy video from sony cybershot dsc-700 and make it play on my dvd.?

  1. 1) Take the memory card out of the camera.

    2) Insert the memory card in a card reader connected to your computer.

    3) Convert the video file to something Windows MovieMaker or Aple iMovie can use. Since you did not tell us what computer you have we can't tell you what utilities you need.

    4) Edit the video.

    5) Use WinDVD (Windows) or iDVD (Macintosh) to burn a DVD.

    You really don't want to do a CD - they hold only 800 meg... This is not a lot in the digital video world - if you want good quality video. A single layer DVD holds 4.7 gig - generally a bit less than 120 minutes of video - you need some space for the menuing (double layer is 8.5 gig and a little under 240 minutes of video)... this allows less compression of the digital video and results in better video quality for TV playback/display.
