How do i create a blank video with just a song playing over it?

I think its legal to do this because allot of people do it,they play thier favorite songs over a blank video with just a picture.How do i do it? What programme do i need?

Windows movie maker, you should already have it on your computer, very very easy to use too, all you need to do is import your pictures and music, drag them into the pictures/ audio section and job done, you can insert cross-overs and effects too.

Your question is very vauge. What is a blank video? Why would you make a vido with no visual? Anyway, if that's what your trynna do, you can do it with apple's imovie. If you have a pc, go to a store and ask them what a cheap alternative to final cut is, something like I movie for your pc. You can then just layer musocal tracks over a blank screen. Then save it as an mpeg or something and upload it to youtube.

First you need the music file (put it in .mp3 format) and then open up Windows Movie Maker. Start > All Programs > Windows Movie Maker, then press CTRL + i and select your music file, then do the same for your picture(s) then drag and drop the music file onto the timeline at the bottom (the audio part) and then do the same for the picture(s) but put them on the video part of the timeline.

Then you go to file > export as movie file, then just hit next a few times and wait for it to convert to a video file, then upload to youtube.
