How do i create a new wireless network?

ok, i have a router and a laptop. i used to use wireless internet until a few days ago. wht happened was someone messed up with my internet settings( could be me), i mean the password and stuff.

i have corrected all other settings but i forgot the password.

the windows help says u can set it up again. when i try to do this, it never finds my inbuilt modem but always asks to connect a usb or a card. wht can i do ?

Go to your network and sharing center,

There should be a button; 'Set up a connection or a network'

You click on that and it will guide you through the whole
