How do i create a web page ?

Question

i want to create a web page or design a web page

and i find a couple of sites that told me how to create one, but they only showed me tha basics

example of this link:

anyways, they just are showing me how to make a layout and write a text on a html document, there NOT showing me how to create a web page

wat up wit that?

The only way is to jump in and learn while you do it.  There are HTML tutorials at w3c.org, where I learned 14 years ago.  Once you get the hang of that, start using the View Source on pages you like and figure out which tags you need to learn more about.  Then you'll also want to learn CSS to really make your pages stand out.

I could type nonstop for weeks and still not tell you everything you need to know, and you'd fall asleep long before that, because I don't know which things are of interest to you and which you can ignore.  And it doesn't matter, because when you need to learn something new, you'll find out how, because you'll know what to search for.

The easiest way for a novice to build a web site is to start with a web template. Web Templates can be customized and you can use the layout but swap the graphics etc.... this will get you comfortable with basic HTML design and an HTML editor (like Dreamweaver).
