  1. Man, I HATE to sound cheesy, but I used to sound like that, and when it comes down to it, you just gotta feeeel the music, especially for latin music. But if you are trying to learn a formal dance step, such as the foxtrot, just google it.

  2. Oh, I see, so your a woman getting advice FOR a guy judging by your email address. Well, when in doubt, use your whole body and you will find the tune I promise..

    Chin Up ;)

  3. Well it's best to dance to the songs that you know well or has a funky groove, this will increase your confidence. For me I wait for the right song that's right for me. Before you get up on the dance floor, loosen up. You'll dance better when you feel loose.

Get up on the dance floor and start walking in time with the rhythm remembering to feel loose, sway your body from side to side with rhythm. Most songs have a simple 4/4 time signature beat so you'll not have to worry about any complicated moves. You can move on the spot or move a little bit in either direction. Whatever makes you feel comfortable.

Don't worry about what others think. You're here to have a great time there is no competition for whoever's best. Most people don't know how to dance so you're not alone.

    Hope this helps :)
