OK here it is my roommates husband pasted away June 13 08. The 11 yr old son was diagnosed with OCD at the first of this yr. and been taking adderal for the ADHD. This kid will not touch the faucets with out getting a clean towel out. He will not through trash way, pick up after him self. He will not flush the toilet!!! He has no ambition and is very lazy. With only two and half weeks till school starts I am not sure that he is going to get on the day time schedule. He is up all nite and sleeps all day. His mom will be going back to work on Aug. 11. I work 8-5 so I need to get my sleep. Guess we will see what happens in the next weeks. I have given the kid gloves to put on so he will not have to touch things he is worried about touching. HELP ME PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS

  1. The gloves were a good idea.

For the ADHD - Exercise helps

For the OCD - Therapy, not arguing with him - it's set in his mind, he won't believe you.

For both - Make it clear that he has to follow the rules just like everybody else.

  2. lock ur self in ur room

  3. The only thing you can do is take him to see someone who specialises in ADHD, He might need his medication changing or a higher dosage of the one he is already taking.

  4. Its' the nut case control, that kid need boundaries put in place, and all the fault lies with the care giver
