  1. Stop eating them - its cruel

  2. not much u can do except try and relax.  coz when u stress and are very anxious u will get butterflies in ur tummy.  hope that helps cya :)

  3. I always get horrible cases of butterflies because I have an anxiety disorder.

Usually to calm myself in situations that I do get them, I take deep breaths which is probably the normal answer you'll get, also, if it helps you can think of something you don't like, such as I don't know, something that makes you angry.

Usually butterflies are the result of over-excitement and can cause that tension feeling, so if you think of something you don't like and change the emotion it can help a great deal.

    hope that helped :D

  9. IF YOU PREFER A SLOW PACE:

Try yoga/Pilates. Focusing on your breathing may make you feel calmer, because when you concentrate on one thing, your mind doesn’t wander as much.

Turn to your spirituality. If you’re religious, go to services or pray silently. If you’re not, try meditating. Don’t know how? Download Mini-Meditations for Stress-Free Living by Simonette Vaja to your iPod ($10, itunes.com). Since you can carry your iPod everywhere, you’ll feel prepared if you’re caught in a stressful situation. You’ll know you have something to calm you down right at your fingertips!

Make a collage of your favorite places. Use pics of a family vacation or friends from camp and look at your creation when you’re panicky. Seeing peaceful pictures can help ease your mind.

IF YOU PREFER TO WORK OFF THE STRESS:

Hit the gym! Regular exercise isn’t a cure-all for anxiety, but it may help reduce tension, which in turn reduces levels of cortisol, the hormone associated with stress.

Connect with your friends. Do something fun with your closest friends, like taking a dance class or playing games on your Wii. Then grab a bite and chat. Sharing your emotions with people you truly trust is comforting. Learning about their anxieties can put things in perspective — you’ll see you can handle whatever you’re facing.

If these tips don’t make you feel calmer, you might need a trained counselor’s advice.

  10. take a deep breath and shake like a wet dog, obviously not that second bit if your in a public place but if no one can see you then yeah

  11. if you have GAD (general anxiety disorder) you can get put on medication like xannax for bad cases or/and get put on busbar or wellburine daily for a prevenative measure. talk to your doctor or psychiatrist, doctors will give it to you faster. psychiatrist will spend too much time trying to figure out why your nervious before giving you it but sometimes like me there is no reason at all and they dont believe that.

  12. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. That should calm your anxiety.

  13. Ok um i have piano recitals all the time and i cant stand them lol alot of the time i try to think of something good or my boyfriend or something that made me mad durring the day. And if you keep thinking that it will be over soon then you might just make it through it.
