while she was in his cage, she got caught up in the spaces between them. i think she struggled to get out and what happened was her bone in the limbs snapped in to two(like a green stick). I'm really worried about her situation and i was wondering if she could live any longer. how do i deal with her leg? is it fine if i put a splint or a bandagee to hold the leg together?

  1. You need to take her to a vet immediately.  She is in extreme pain and it is cruel to leave her as is.

A VET may be able to splint her leg and properly repair the fracture, or may be able to amputate the leg.  If there is no way to save the legs, and you are not able to take care of a special needs rabbit, then your only option is euthanasia.  Please take her to the vet and get her the care she desperately needs.

  2. You take her to the vet NOW.  They will know if they can repair her legs or if it's best to euthanize her if there is not hope for a good recovery and you are not willing to care for a 'special needs' pet.  There are specially constructed wheelchairs available now for rabbits and other pets when there is a hind-limb problem, but obviously a severely disabled pet will need extra care from you to have a good quality of life.

  3. Try frying her in a light creme broule'. Tasty!

  4. oregano13 and Alissha are right, please get her to a Vet NOW!

  5. clean it and use iodine the hope it doesnt die
