ok today was the first day of 9th grade for me. i've liked my classes that i had today so far. but in Algebra 1 and Art, i'm not to crazy over the people who are in there. common sense tells you that the people in my class are a bad influence. they think they are all "gangsta" and they constantly get on every ones nerves. they misbehave all the time and they think it's "cool" to have s*x with a bunch of different people

the teachers know these people act that way but suspension doesn't help at all. i'm really trying to get good grades this year but i know they will be a huge distraction. i am a quiet person but i do know when to tell a teacher that someone is being too obnoxious. so how am i going to ignore these people successfully and continue to focus on my school work?

btw- i can't just move to another spot in the class rooms. they are all filled up

  1. the best thing to do would be to ignore them, i know, life's not fair.

  2. Don't worry, those people only show up for the first day anyway. I would just stay busy and not even look at them or else they will get all up in your face.

  3. That's High School....You're gonna have to get used to it for 3 more years.

  4. What do you care what they do? Don't they deserve a chance to go to school just as well as you do?

Stop being weird and just get on with your life, they won't bother you.

  5. Welcome to high school.. you're gonna have to get used to it.

Edit: Hahaha. I pretty much said the same thing as the first person.

But seriously, don't you think you're overreacting?

  6. i'm gonna have to agree with the message that's been brought by a couple other people here...welcome to high school!

believe me, you will meet so many different kinds of people in high school, these are just one kind...really, imo, it's not your job to be the police in this situation, let the teacher handle it however he/she feels is appropriate, and the situation will usually diffuse itself
