How do i decorate my room because i am 12? I want something bright and cool.?

NO brown, black, indigo, dark purple, red, dark blue AND dark green. Any dark colours are A NO GO ZONE! Any baby colours are okay lyk: baby blue, baby yellow or green.

Well first before you think about colors and all you need to find something that fits your personality and something that will grow with you since you don't want to have to be changing up within a year.

I think I would go with a basic light color for the walls and then accent with those wallies along the border or around your bed area.

Get a cute matching comforter set that comes with matching sheets, pillow case covers. Put big comfy pillows that can be thrown onto the floor when friends come over. have a few extra chairs that might be fold up chairs when friends come or beanbags are always a hit.

A little area that is neat and clean for studying with a nice lamp is good for reading.

If I had a room of my own and I was your age what I would go for is a light green room. I would border in fern wallies along with top or some kind of greenery that looks like the outdoors because I really love the outdoors. I would make a large bullentin board that I was put up pictures of friends, family, important reminder with a cute striped green fabric and ribbon in some cross cross to hold the pictures and such.

I would have flat plastic bins that can slide under me bed for extra junk that I may want to keep and may not use all the time to hide away. Get organizers for my closet to keep everything within reach. Plenty of good lighting. bean bags for my friends to sit on and lots and lots of pillows that match in all kinds of different fabrics, but yet the same color. A pretty rug in a green print.

I redecorated my room when I was 12 and I loved bright colors so I painted my walls orange(not bright-bright or really dark but a happy medium) and a bright cheery yellow. I'm 14 now and still luv my room! I added creative decorations like a vase of fake daisys in all different colors, retro hanging beads at my window instead of curtains, tons of cool picture frames, & large hanging paper lanterns in the corner above my bed. well hope you find something that works. um i decorated my room when i was twelve. i didnt like dark colours either. yuk.

but anyways

umm maybe do like one wall bright blue and then the rest baby blue or put a bright coulour on the biggest wall in ur room so it acts as a feature wall the paint the other walls a pale colour.

u can also make these things and you buy material from any material shop and canvases frm a craft store and the u strech the patterend material ova the canvas and staple it into place. hey end up lookin reely good if u match the patterns to the colour of ur room.
