How do i decrease the number or "bytes" in a photo?

Question

My photo is 49,842 bytes and i have to get it to below 40,000 bytes. It has to be 760x375 in the size of the canvas and that is what it is at the moment.

whats type of image is this..????

BMP.., Jpeg ... Gif..

any ways try this simple trick

open your image in MSPAINT

windows key + run .... type mspaint and click ok

open the image

and now do nothing just open file and save as and save in

.jpeg format...

now check...

it will work 90 %...

else you would require image editing software like Photoshop.

any ways try this out.. cos MS paint comes default with Windows..
