  1. Go to My Computer, and right-click on the C drive. Go to Properties, then the Tools tab, and choose Defragment.

  2. I'm not sure how to do it without buying a program.

If you dont get any good answers i know you can do it with Norton

  3. Start.....Programs.......Accessories....... Tools

    Disk Defrag

  4. http://one.xthost.info/j123/JkDefrag.zip

Extract the zip and double click the exe file. The process is fully automated.

  5. press windows + E and right click on C; and go to properties. Go to tools and press disk defragment. There is also a program i use that i consider better called auslogics disk defragmenter. Google it!

  6. Windows has there own.

    Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Defrag

But it is slow as !

I would go with a free software that is great and is much quicker.

  7. If you're using Windows, just click on "My Computer". Right click the drive you want to defrag. Go to properties. A new window will popup. Click tools, and in the middle somewhere you'll see the defragmenter. Just click that which will open a new window. Then just click the defrag button. Note it may take awhile to defrag. Also its best to close all applications, or the defragger will not be able to move them.
