How do i delete a group off the dam group list?

I'm not sure just what you want.  If you wish to delete a group:Click management lower left on your home page. Then you will see "delete group." Click and follow the prompts.

If you wish to leave a group: Go to the group's site, click on edit membership along the top. In the next window scroll down and check leave group Click save changes and you should be out. It may take a day to take effect.

I'm going to take a completely different interpretation. If your a moderator mark your group as private and then your group is off of the main list.

delete a group off your yahoo groups or a group off your Messenger?

on your messenger, depending on which version you're using, put your curser over manage groups- a little opo up box shows and the bottom choice is delete group

if it's a yahoo group-

leaving a group via the unsubscibe e-mail is faulty, if that's the only way you can leave, you will need the help form

go to group home page and click edit membership top middle of page- bottom right click Leave Group- next page confirm and click Leave

go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column check the small box - click save changes
