How do i delete entries from the search window pull down?

when i click on the empty search window a list of previous searches appears bellow the search window how do I erase items from that list?

or simple internet explorer address window?

For Internet Explorer:Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

of if thats not available, open your internet options from your tools menu, and click erase history
