  1. Click on Tools and then Internet Options. Under General click Clear History. Keep in mind this just erases sites visited and will not erase your search history on your search bar. This is how to do that:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

  2. go to "tools" scroll up or down to "delete browsing history" click on it  and look for something that says "history" than click "delete history". this is for windows vista, the "tools" button should be on the top right corner.

  3. Click on your Tools button then go down to internet options.

    Click again.

    Click on delete history.

  4. Go to History on your Toolbar, Click on Show in Sidebar - that will show the sites then you can delete them all.
