How do i delete me yahoo name?

My yahoo name is VeronicaKelly_1114

i want to change it to my nickname.

you can do one of two things.

you can go to yahoo help and delete your account fully or you can go to 'my account' on any yahoo page and create another id under your main id. that way you dont have to delete your yahoo account, just add a new id or alias to your account.
