How do i delete ms antivirus from my computer please help me?

i am trying to load another anti-virus but the ms window keeps popping up

and asking me to pay them

Hello,

First remove the antivirus from startup list. Then, it can't run to ask you to pay.

Go to "Start" menu, click "Run", then type "msconfig", go to "startup" tab. Find the antivirus in the list (You can realize it using its directory if the name doesn't help). and remove the tick. Restart your computer, the antivirus should not run.

If it ran again, it might start using registry. Using "Super Utilities" you can check all the ways of starting up. Download it from:

Then you can uninstall it using "control panel->Add or remove programs"

or

uninstall it using "Super Utilities". It has a very nice uninstaller, too.

Micro-mart's free CD include security programmes, such as Spy Bot that has already been suggested, you may be able to download it from their site, you can definitely download Spy Bot foc.

Go to http://www.spybot.com & download & run spybot s&d, this will sort it.

Unfortunately, you have been infected with this trojan.  It is very difficult to remove and you man need to get professional help.

However, you can try Windows System Restore.

Click Start, then Run.  In the Run box, enter msconfig.

Then click the Launch System Restore button.

Follow the instructions to restore your system to an earlier date.  Try to pick a day before you saw this problem.  You PC will need to reboot and hopefully the problem will be gone.  If not, then take it to a Pro.
