Question:

How do i delete past addresses in the address bar when i enter one letter?

ie. when i enter "u" only in the address bar, past history "http:" addresses show directly below the address bar. I want to delete all of these addresses. please suggest how this is done.

  1. GOTO YOUR ADDRESS AND REMOVE THEM OR SHALL I SAY DELETE THEM FROM THERE AND THEN IT SHOULD WORK.


  2. my computer -- > control panel --> internet options --> general --> browsing history...click delete and that'll take care of it at least thats on xp if you're using something else it would be in the same spot just would be under history delete that plus cookies and all that stuff cus they all clog up your computer :D

  4. It depends on which browser you are using. I will assume you are using Internet Explorer. First go to tools at the menu up top and at the bottom of the drop down click Internet Options.  Under the general tab is the option to delete history which is what you want to do.

  5. Open inet options in the control panel and use the clear history tab.
