How do i delete sites i have been to on my web search?

  1. Go to Control Panel, Internet Options, Delete History.


  2. click start then go to your control panel. from here click on network and Internet connections.  on the icon panel click Internet options. then click clear history.

  3. go to tools, internet options, and select clear history, delete cookies, delete files and then select apply.

  4. For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

  5. What browser are you using? Netscape, AOL, IE, Firefox, Opera, Google, etc, etc.

  6. if its yahoo search, click the little pencil and then "clear search history" on the drop down list.

    if its google, click the little arrow in the searchbar and then press 'clear history.'

  7. tools> internet options >"advanced" tab> delete history and delete files> check "delete all ofline contents">ok

    or for more secured deletion down load and install "ccleaner" or "easy cleaner" (freeware) and run those internet history/file delete options.

    as you have posted it from Yahoo! search,to delete search thru Yahoo! search click on the edit tool button (looks like pencil on the left of Yahoo! search box and click "clear search history"
