  1. To delete your open question, click at your avatar, go down the page and you will see your Question/Answer folder.

Look for the question you want to delete....and click on the Pencil Icon below your question and select “ Delete Question”

If the Pencil Icon is no longer 'clickable', this means the question is currently in voting or has become resolved.

Resolved questions/questions in voting cannot be deleted, unless the question is reported by 1 or more YA member, or YA feels such question violates the Yahoo! Community Guidelines.

Resolved questions are archived by Yahoo! Answers, to make it available for others to search and browse.

  2. - Go to your "Mailbox" page.

    - You will see your messages listed there. Next to each message is a box. Click on it to select the box. Above the green word "Messages" in that same section, there is a "Delete" button. Click it and it will delete the messages that you've selected. There are also a "First | < Prev | Next > | Last" links to the upper right of the section to advance to other pages if you have many messages.

    - Click on outstanding invitations (left side of page...your limit is 100) and delete them. Delete expired invitations (view the invitations and then delete them on that next screen).

    - Check your "Sent" folder and delete old messages.

If you can't do the above, see http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... for information regarding a recent 360 glitch involving mailboxes.
