  1. Start button - control panel - add or remove programs - then look for it... - click it - then click remove

  2. Somtimes you have to right click the program and click "Run as administrator"

  3. you have to log in as the admin, if you dont have permission. or there will be an option in setting to take this admin control off so to speak

  4. Try going to Add/Remove Programs in the control panel and uninstalling it. or try restarting your computer and closing any programs that could be running those files. Then try deleting.

  5. If Add or Remove Program screen doesn' t have an entry for what you're trying to remove (always the preferred and safer way to do it), you can try in Safe Mode.

To get into Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking:

1.Log out and reboot your machine.

2.When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly.

3.Select Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking from the resulting menu.

4.When the login screen comes up, log in as Administrator.  By default, Administrator has no password.

5.The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different.  You won't be able to see the Internet, for instance.

6.When you're finished, log out and reboot back into normal mode.

Realize, though, that removing things by hand doesn't always remove everything that should be removed, and the pieces left behind sometimes become troublesome on their own.

    Hope that helps.

  6. If you have Vista...

    Turn off UAC.

Log on as Administrator. That is, actual Administrator

rather than the Vista dummy administrator:

    1) Open the command prompt with Administrative privileges by opening the

Start Menu, typing cmd in the search box. Then press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to

    open cmd with admin rights.

    2) Type the following in the command prompt and then press Enter:

    net user administrator /active:yes

    3) Restart the computer and then log in as Administrator.
