  1. ok lernt this in school what ur to do is shine a powerful light on ot there is a shadow of a bird of what ever and then u no its alive

  2. The best way to find out if an egg is fertile or not is to candle it. Take  a strong light whether a good flashlight or an actual candler and pick the egg up gently being careful not to turn it. Shine the light through and usually if the egg is fertile you will see a dark spot that would be the embryo and ifs far enough along, the embryo might actually  move. Make sure to replace the egg in the same position you found it in.

  3. the little bird that look like a sparrow the dunnack has small blue eggs with brown spots, but if you are in Britain they are a endangered species (you would not believe it is you saw how many i have in my garden), the robin has light blue eggs but they do not have spots, it is more than likely that the egg you found was an egg that did not hatch and the mother bird has removed it from the nest as her babies have hatched, the egg you have is more than likely not fertile, usually if it is not kept warm the embryo dies so don't get your hopes up that it is alive, when it comes to seeing if it is alive or not the water test is not a good way, that only works for eggs you want to eat if it floats in cold water it is safe to eat if it sinks it is not, if it sinks it does not mean the egg is alive it could just be rotten, the only way you will tell is to either wait 28 days and see if it hatches or to candle it, a developing egg will sink as it is heavier than a fresh egg, best of luck honey hope all works out for you

  4. It's a bird egg. Reptile eggs are white. I don't know what kind of bird. Robins have eggs which are light blue, but no spots. Hold a flashlight to it and if you see veins, it is fertile.
