If you're calling from California to a land line in Mexico (NOT a cell phone):

1) Dial 011 plus the country code (52)

2) Then the city code (55) for DF; (33) for Guadalajara

3) Then dial the phone number. Usually this is eight digits. DF numbers often start with a 5 or a 3.

So, a number in DF might be something like this:

011-52-55-5xxx-xxxx
