How do i digitize my recordings from a Sony 120x Digital Zoom SuperSteady Shot into a cd?

so my neighbour lent the videocam to me a few days ago and i URGENTLY need to transfer all my recordings into a cd ( preferrably, straight into the computer ) asap but i don't know how to.

i was provided with a computer cable but i can only connect it to the computer! the other side of the cable will not fit in any of the holes in the handycam.

someone please help.

i'm not good at this stuff at all :(

  1. You forgot to mention model number.However assumeing you got 3-4 year old model if it is using MiniDV cassete buy Firewire card and firewire cord(software will be bunndled with hardware) and your video can be transfered to pc(you can make DVD later on)
