How do i divert my house phone to my mobile?

i have to go out soon and am waiting on a very important call from a job i have applied for and i must divert my house phone to my mobile! what number do i dial to do that! i live ion victoria bendigo..

  1. You need to call your local Phone company and ask for "Call Forwarding" feature if you already dont have it. Also your local phone company can give you the details on how to set up the Call Forwarding feature.


  2. not sure what victoria bendigo is

    if you are in the US you could get a grand central number (sorry i am all out of invites) and give out that number, it will ring your home and cell phone at the same time...

    otherwise you will need to forward your line...

    you need to subscribe to call forwarding but to activate call forwarding you dial 72# (or *72) you will hear the dial tone stutter, then enter the number you wish to forward to, once the line is picked up your calls will be forwarded. if the line you are forwarding to does not pick up, just do it a second time, and call forwarding is not active....

    to remove call forwarding its 73# (or *73 in some areas)

  3. its called call forwarding...or you could have just gave this job your cell # then you wouldnt be in this mess
