Well im going to a camp we rent every year me and my friends jump off the dock there and jump off so i saw my friend last year do a front flip into water i was about to except i corkscrewed into it instead. Now my friend is skipping this year because there busy my other friends going to be there and we usually snorkle and jump off the floating dock its like 25 feet away from the other dock idk how far but a pretty good distance its about 4-5 feet in the water at that spot and its a lot softer sand at the bottom i cant ask my friend because hes not going to be there and my other friend she does not know how to so i was thinking off getting a chair and flipping of that but i dont want to get injured in the process so how could i do it and tell me how to do it off the regular dock and the floating dock thanks.

  1. DO IT LIKE YOU WOULD DO IT IF YOU WAS ON LAND.

  2. You should get a running start on the dock even if it's just 3 or 4 feet.  At the end of the dock jump into the air and as we learned in gymnastics, try to chase your feet.  Once you have mastered a running flip then you can do a standing flip.  Just jump up then try to catch your feet.  Wherever your head goes, your body will follow.  You should wait till you get to the water to try this or try it on a mattress on a floor.  But whatever you do don't do it off a chair.  You could kick the chair out from under you and do some serious head damage.
