How do i do a herkie and toetouch?

  1. Herkie...sit on the ground with both legs out in front of you, now take one leg and (doesn't matter which one) and bend it at the knee so that your foot is near your butt. That is the position of a herkie now just do that in the air.

    From a standing position jump straight up and lift one leg in front of you and the other bent at the knee behind you...that's a herkie.

    The toetouch can be done with both legs in front, but is typically done with the legs out, as if doing a side to side split. The more limber you become the further your legs will be spread apart and simply reach out as you jump and touch your toes.
