  1. You want to graph y = f(x) { or vice versa}

    {{if you wanted to be a smart **s you could graph x²+y² wrt whatever.}}

    solve for y or x (doesn't matter which) - say y

    Estimate the number of points you want to graph - say 20

    It should be obvious by just examining the equation that (excluding complex numbers) neither x nor y can be greater than 2.  Right? !

    So pick 5 values between [0 to 2] to graph for the x value

    Solve for the y value

    Since these are squares +x and -x have two y values each, ±y.

    So each value of x gives you four points

    Graph them.

    If you then can't figure what the radius or center is, then get a brain transplant.

  2. center is 0,0 and radius is 2 (i.e. square root of 4)

  3. x^2 plus y^2 = 4

    ok this is easy

    compare to the circle format (x-a)^2 + (y-b)^2 = r^2

    so we know a=0 and b=0 and r^2 =4

    so radius =2

    cernter 0,0
