How do i do to make my projection tv to have a better picture?

I have a 60 inches projection, which the picture quality has been going worst . brightness doesn't help much, contrast make the picture looks darker and the light lamp is getting lighter and lighter, is there anyway I can fix this problem or is it just time to buy me a new tv.?

well.. projection doesnt provide that much detail.. since its just light projected from 3 projectors.. while plasma and lcds have millions of pixels..

You didn't say if it was a lamp based unit or a TV that uses CRT picture tubes to display a picture.....

If it's a lamp based unit, just replace the lamp and you're back in business with a good looking picture...of course you have to reset your video adjustments back to what they were.....

And with a CRT picture tube type of TV set, all that's needed is a WHITE BALANCE readjustment to it....

It'll rebalance the colors, readjust your brightness, your FOCUS and make it look factory new.....
