I thought i could buy stocks on moneycontrol.com. can i do that.

As an indian and still staying in US, can i create my acount in etrade and buy US or Indian stocks in NASDAQ , S &P ?

Theye usually offer incentives to new time customers, for example 50 free trades.  After that they are usually $9.95 per trade or something like that.  You can buy any securites through these websites.

I use ameritrade.  I would suggest goign with them but either company will be fine.
