How do i download a font

i would like to download a particular font onto my mac, how do i do it?

You can go to a font website like the first answerer mentioned, 1001freefonts.com, and when you select your font you should see a button that lets you choose your computer type.

download a font and drop it in Macintosh HD\Library\Fonts
