  1. You have to purchase the software and you will get a CD to download.

  2. well you have to buy it but you can get openoffice for free. check www.cnet.com for verious solutions

  3. download it from the net, or buy the cd. Im not so sure if you can download it thou. But ders onli 1 way to find oun

  4. You have to pay for it.  I recommend downloading OpenOffice Writer.  It's the same thing and its FREE and LEGAL!!!

  5. You will have to buy it from a shop or you can buy it online.

Although if your not willing to pay you could get Open office which is free and hass mostly the same features as word.

  6. you can either buy it. Or there may be a trial. but if your looking for something close to that. as in typing essay's and such. you can download openoffice ( it is the same thing). you can get it from http://www.openoffice.org/

  7. You would need to purchase the right to use the application. You can download on a trial basis, and then buy the Product Code to enter before the trial period is over. I will provide a link for you in a moment. However, Word on its own is expensive. You would be better off downloading one of the several Office Suites from Microsoft. Each application in the suite is the full version, and each is greatly reduced in price when bought in this fashion. You can also download on a trail basis.

There is also an alternative to Microsoft Office, a really good free Office Suite called Open Office. It is a part of the Open Source software initiative, and all software created in Open Source is free for ever, and you can do anything you want with it, even decompile and work with the code in any way you please. You never have to pay for this software. It compatible with Microsoft Office, in that you can open documents from Open Office in Microsoft Office, and vise verse.

    Check it out here:

Here is the link for the Microsoft Office product family:

The Microsoft Office Student and Teacher edition may be your best choice for home uses.

Good luck and have a nice day.

  8. You have to buy Microsoft Word, which in my opinion is expensive and unnecessary.

Try downloading and installing OpenOffice.org...it's "Writer" program is nearly identical to MS Word in functionality, is really easy to get used to, and is also free! It also can open and save MS Word files.

Use the link below to download it and try it out. If you don't like it you can always uninstall it and go buy MS Word (at a place like Best Buy, Staples or Office Max).
